Coalition attacks in Syria; Damascus: They are killing our soldiers

An air attack conducted against a military camp killed three Syrian soldiers, said the government in Damascus, blaming the coalition led by the United States.


The Syrian government has stated that aircraft fired missiles at a camp in Deir al-Zour province, that mass is controlled by the jihadist group Islamic State, killing three soldiers and wounding 13 others.

Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack calling it a "flagrant act of aggression". According to Syrian diplomatic sector, 3 armored vehicles, 4 military vehicles and stockpiles of weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

But a coalition spokesman has denied that its air forces have carried out attacks in the area above.

What is known is that the coalition has hit ISIS targets militants in Syria since September 2014 independently and not in coordination with the authorities of Damascus.

Last week, the UK decided to join the air strikes, while also expanding its bombing campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq.
