Beijing "alam red" level of smog


Schools in Beijing will be shut down and suspended all construction, after the government issued a red alert because of air pollution and smog levels high.
This is the maximum rate of emergency, which was not previously used in the capital of China and will be in force at least 72 hours starting from Monday.
Beijing will be banned vehicle traffic and the development of a range of other activities. Chinese authorities reported that the dense smog that can carry up to three days.
Local media suggested that China's capital can not see more than 200m.
The level of air pollution has reached 256 microgram per cubic meter in some of the most polluted areas. The World Health Organization considers normal level figure 25 micrograms per cubic meter. This means that Beijing is Now currently 10 times more polluted than the rates set by the WHO.
